Artist Statement
-
As an individual who has traveled for a long time I've always kept an open mind to observe the impact and integration between Eastern and Western cultures as well as the trends of globalization and recording its changes and records. In addition to oil painting and mixed media I also have the desire to create large-scaled installation art, including the creation of different plants and weaving techniques. I also seek to experiment by combining Yilan customs and folk photography with objects brought back from Australia, alongside ceramics and other various media expressions. This is necessary for it to blend with local humanities and art space to present a cross domain visual space experience. In terms of landscape design, it also incorporates with waterscape, local landscapes and lightning, combined with stainless steel or mixed media to create and contemporary landscape art presentation.
