COVID-19 in 2020 has plunged global cultural and art industries to their worst recession. To be a beacon, the online exhibition, Taiwan Under COVID-19: United Through Art, introduces the works of 36 passionate Taiwanese artists across three generations. They aim at demonstrating their unreserved support and warm friendship for India through art in a digital world of beauty and hope.

Artist Statment
- Yang Mao-Lin often criticized mainstream ideas when he was young, and considered it the purpose behind his identity as an artist. However, his mindset began to shift as time progressed, and in addition to taking an oppositional stance, he realized there are different ways he can go about contemplating and expressing. After realizing this, his art then entered a new phase, changing in form, content, and concept. Art is still what Yang is most passionate about in life till this day, and although his approach to art is constantly evolving, he never strays away from using art as a way to respond, to interpret himself, the times he’s in, and the land he’s from.
